This isn’t a “keep the lights on” role. It’s your chance to take the reins, set the patterns, and make your mark on a system trusted across the globe.

What You’ll Own

Lead our migration to scalable AWS infra and make the big calls along the way

Define GitOps-style CI/CD pipelines that become second nature to the team

Shape infrastructure patterns that speed up developer productivity

Bake SOC-2 aligned practices into the foundation—not bolted on later

Build monitoring that feels invisible (because it just works)

Write documentation so clear it sets the gold standard

Core Skills

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Strong proficiency with Terraform for managing AWS and Hetzner resources.

Cloud Platforms: Practical experience with AWS (ECS/Fargate, ALB, VPC, Route 53, WAF, S3, IAM, Secrets Manager) and comfort working with Hetzner for staging/dev.

Containerization & Deployment: Solid knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab).

Scaling & Cost Optimization: Experience setting up auto-scaling and cost-optimized environments across providers.

Reliability & Security

Troubleshooting & Monitoring: Skilled at diagnosing infra/app issues; familiar with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry, CloudWatch).

Security & Compliance: Ability to implement SOC-2–aligned practices (least privilege IAM, secrets management, secure networking).

High Availability: Ensures zero/low downtime deployments, disaster recovery, and backup policies.

Nice-to-Have

Familiarity with Karpenter / ASG for scaling.

Knowledge of multi-cloud strategies and trade-offs.

✅ Requirements

• 3+ years or more in DevOps/SRE roles supporting production systems
• Strong experience with AWS services (ECS, EC2, RDS, S3, IAM)
• Proficient in Docker containerization and ECS orchestration
• Experience with GitOps principles and CI/CD pipelines
• SOC-2 or similar compliance knowledge and implementation
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Grafana, Sentry, CloudWatch)
• Very good written English for documentation
• Experience with infrastructure migration projects

Bonus:

• DORA metrics implementation and team productivity optimization
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code expertise
• Cost optimization and FinOps practices
• Security tooling and vulnerability management
• Experience in Python or TypeScript is big plus

Note: Successful candidates will work on-site in Ha Noi.
