• Position title: Bridge & Lead Software Engineer (Japanese Speaking)

• Reporting to: Supervisors (Japanese)
• Work with: A team (4 members)

Job Description

MFPs or the related software are embedded in many products, requiring a great deal of know-how and technology. Since many of our projects are large-scale, you can improve your skills and realize great results upon completion of the project.

• Objective: Development and maintenance of some document capturing software related to multifunction devices. Some of its module will be implemented as a plug-in on MFP.
• Job Responsibilities: The responsibility of the lead engineer is to summarize tasks of engineers and lead the project (Technical lead) and take the bridge SE between the Vietnamese team & Japanese development department side.
• Job Description:
  • You will be developing and maintaining document capturing software that operates on the multifunction devices.
  • Debugging and evaluation will be conducted using either actual devices or simulators.
  • The ultimate role of a Software Engineer is to build high-quality, correctly functioning software in compliance with coding standards.
  • Lead the development planning, operation, and quality assurance of the project.

Job Requirements

• Work Experience: Management experience in software development for 3 years or more, or experience as a software engineer for 5 years or more (JavaScript, Java experience is preferred).
• Language Proficiency: Japanese language proficiency at N1 level or higher is preferred (minimum N2), and English fluently - spoken, listening, and written. Working experience with Japanese clients will be preferrable.
• Ability to actively communicate and collaborate with colleagues and supervisors.
• Having the motivation to work for a long period (10 years or more), as a founding member of the company.

Education/Academic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Relevant technology certifications
