This position is for Senior Mobile Developers (React Native) to join our CodeHQ Vietnam team in HCMC (Quan 12). 

The initial project will be for CodeHQ’s client who is the largest postal and courier service provider in New Zealand. You will be working on a mobile app that will require strong React Native and Expo skills.  Native development skills in Android and iOS will also be advantageous. 

Interviews are online or optionally at our CodeHQ office in QTSC, District 12.

Essential dev skills:

• React Native: Experience building and deploying cross-platform mobile apps, with a solid grasp of the React Native ecosystem. Preferably, experience in using the EXPO framework.
• State Management & Security: Proficiency in state management tools (e.g. Redux, MobX, Context API) and mobile security principles, including data encryption and secure API communication.
• Storage & Performance Optimisation: Familiarity with mobile storage solutions performance optimisation techniques.
• UI/UX & Native Modules: Understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices and experience bridging JavaScript with native modules.
• API Integration & Testing: Strong skills in API integration, asynchronous data handling, testing, and debugging for high-quality, reliable applications.
• Good understanding of the Agile/Scrum development methodology.

Preferred dev skills:

• Frontend skills in React.js or other JavaScript platforms
• Backend skills in .Net, NodeJs or others

Essential soft skills:

• Good English communication skills, both verbal and written. IELTS certification preferred.
• Strong team player, positive attitude, and professionalism.
• 5+ years’ practical experience in designing, developing and delivering commercial software applications
• Experience with working with overseas customers.
