Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage Salesforce B2B and B2C Commerce Cloud solutions.
• Develop and maintain storefronts using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware).
• Customize and extend Salesforce Commerce Cloud capabilities using JavaScript (ECMAScript 5 and 6), HTML, CSS, and Apex.
• Integrate third-party applications and services using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure best practices in coding, performance optimization, and security.
• Perform site speed optimization and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Configure and manage development tools such as Jenkins, git, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (a.k.a. Demandware), implementing both back-end and front-end features.
• Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C Developer Certification.
• Proven experience in implementing and managing Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce CRM and related technologies.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ECMAScript 5 and 6), JSON, AJAX, jQuery, XML, web analytics, and web services (SOAP/REST).
• Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA) and Site Genesis JavaScript Controllers (SGJC) reference architectures.
• Strong, in-depth programming skills in JavaScript, both server-side and client-side.
• Experience with web frameworks, interactive web development, and responsive web design.
• Familiarity with business process analysis and CRM systems and experience using Salesforce IDE (Integrated Development Environment) will be an advantage.
• Having experience as a Salesforce developer along with a solid understanding of the platform, its architecture, and its limitations will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, SOQL, and other Salesforce development tools will be an added advantage
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of building, using, and deploying cartridges.
• Strong working knowledge of secure development practices.
• Experience with site speed optimization.
• Experience configuring and managing Jenkins.
• Salesforce B2C Commerce Architect Certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of open-source packages/libraries.
