Cacaoweb is a revolutionary application platform to communicate and share with people, search and organize your data, watch or listen to multimedia content. We work on greenfield technologies such as large p2p networks, distributed data stores, runtime systems and type systems for programming languages.
Cacaoweb (cacaoweb.org) is an application platform. The capabilities of the platform are diverse and range from multimedia distribution to social communication or data synchronisation.
We are primarily based in London and HK with a team spreading across multiple time zones. We build massively distributed data stores, which is the core of the cacaoweb network, parallel computation frameworks and runtime systems, such as the Bee Programming Platform (beeprogram.org) which is our main development platform. We design and implement applications that run on top of our peer-to-peer platform.
