As a Senior Software Engineer at Zalopay, you'll lead the design and development of high-performance microservices, primarily using Spring Boot, Kafka, Redis, and various SQL databases. These services power our complex promotion systems, which handle thousands requests per second and serve millions of Zalopay users, processing diverse promotional campaigns including discounts, loyalty programs and marketing events.

You'll take ownership of critical system components, driving architectural decisions to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability of the whole Promotion system/ Risk Decision Engine, evolution of our microservices architecture. Your work will directly impact Zalopay's ability to deliver seamless and engaging promotional experiences.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of high-performance, fault-tolerant microservices using Spring Boot, Kafka, Redis, and SQL databases to support Zalopay's promotion systems.
• Develop and maintain robust APIs for seamless integration with other Zalopay services.
• Contribute to and drive the evolution of the microservices architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in high-traffic systems, optimizing for latency, throughput, and resource utilization.
• Implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively detect and address performance issues.
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code, adhering to established coding standards and best practices.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Yêu cầu công việc

• Excellent in problem-solving, system design and analytical skills.
• 3+ years of experience in Java programming and Web Development
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing scalable microservices architectures
• Deep understanding of SQL databases, including MySQL/MariaDB, and experience with database optimization.
• Proven experience with Redis caching and message queueing systems like Kafka.
• Strong debugging, profiling and performance optimization skills.
• Practical experience with container technologies such as Docker and orchestration systems like Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles and OOP design patterns.
• Familiar with jUnit, Mockito, or similar testing libraries.
• Comfortable participating in code reviews and contributing to a collaborative development environment.
