Arbin Instruments currently has vacancies for a self-driven, passionate and results focused Senior Full-stack Developer to be part of our specialist team that will be dedicated to develop and maintain the software that supports the Arbin’s products.

You will have to work in an agile environment, collaborating with highly skilled people who are proactive, passionate about technology and results driven.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for taking ownership of significant parts of application:
  • Requirement collecting
  • Proposal writing, designing
  • Coding (both backend and frontend)
  • Unit testing, providing integration test strategy
  • Reviewing test plans/test reports
  • Remote troubleshooting for customer when customer service teams have difficulty.
• Actively and proactively learning about our products, the physics philosophy behind it, the logic and reason for those logic in the software (and relating firmware).
• Works harmoniously in a cross-functional team comprising managers, supervisors, other developers, QA teams in ensuring the delivery of software solutions as planned, within set budget, and timely.
• Performs self project management tasks.

Primary Objectives

• To add more R&D manpower on the development of data processing applications to Arbin’s products

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proficient in working with J2EE on both greenfield and brownfield projects to make the app reliable, maintainable, performant.
• Proficient in working with React + Vite + Typescript, Tailwind, Antd to build and maintain dynamic and interactive frontend elements.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL, Cassandra.
• Experience in programming with communication protocols, e.g. MQTT.
• Experience working with Azure cloud or equivalent cloud providers.
• Experience working with Jira Collaboration Tools.
• Nice To Have Experience working with CI-CD using Docker, K8S.
• Nice To Have Experience working with Thingsboard platform.
• Nice To Have Experience in other languages, e.g. C#, C++, Python, Golang.

Education and Experience

• Degree or equivalent experience: Bachelor or above.
• Years of experience: at least 5 years.
• Specialized training in: Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related.
• Active affiliations: No requirement.
• Other requirements (certifications and so forth): No.
• English requirement: confident in reading and writing; listening/speaking fine for presentation, technical discussion.
• Chinese language is a plus.
