ROLE OVERVIEW

We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst with strong analytical skills and technical curiosity to join our Vietnam team as we transform into an AI-first company. The ideal candidate combines business analysis expertise with an interest in technology, capable of understanding client requirements and working collaboratively with our technical team to deliver innovative solutions.

This position reports to our CTO and works closely with our Melbourne creative team and international clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

AI & Technology Analysis

• Research client business processes and identify opportunities for technology improvements
• Work with the team to understand AI tools and how they can benefit client projects
• Support the development team in translating business needs into technical solutions
• Document project requirements and collaborate on implementation planning
• Learn about new AI tools and technologies as they emerge 

Systems & Project Analysis

• Understand client technical needs and current system capabilities
• Work with development team to design solutions that meet business objectives
• Create clear documentation that both technical and non-technical stakeholders can understand
• Support database and system optimization discussions
• Research and recommend appropriate tools and integrations for client needs

Cross-Functional Project Leadership

• Lead technical discovery sessions with Melbourne creative team and international clients
• Translate complex client requirements into actionable development tasks
• Manage project delivery coordination between Vietnam technical team and Melbourne client-facing team
• Create and maintain project documentation in Jira, including detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
• Facilitate technical reviews and ensure alignment between business objectives and technical implementation

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Present technical solutions and recommendations directly to clients via video conferencing
• Conduct technical workshops and training sessions for client teams
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination and troubleshooting
• Create comprehensive technical documentation and user guides
• Support pre-sales technical consulting and solution architecture

Quality Assurance & Process Improvement

• Establish quality standards for technical deliverables and AI-enhanced solutions
• Monitor project performance metrics and identify optimization opportunities
• Implement best practices for technical documentation and knowledge management
• Contribute to internal process improvement and methodology development

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Technical Foundation

• Minimum 3+ years experience as Business Analyst in technology or digital marketing environment
• Basic programming understanding: Familiarity with web technologies and development concepts
• Database awareness: Working knowledge of databases and data management principles
• System integration experience: Understanding of how different platforms connect and communicate
• AI tool familiarity: Interest in and exposure to AI technologies (training provided)
• Platform experience: WordPress, Shopify, React or similar content management systems

Business Analysis Skills

• Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills using modern methodologies
• System analysis abilities with understanding of business process mapping
• Data analysis capabilities with experience in reporting and insights generation
• Project coordination experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools
• Clear documentation skills for creating user-friendly guides and specifications

Communication & Collaboration

• Excellent English communication (written and verbal) for international client interaction
• Video conferencing proficiency for cross-timezone collaboration
• Presentation skills for technical solution demonstrations
• Cross-cultural communication experience with Australian/Western business practices
• Remote collaboration expertise using modern project management tools

Tools & Technologies

• Project Management: Jira, Confluence, Monday.com, or similar project tools
• Design Tools: Figma, Draw.io, Adobe Creative Suite, or willingness to learn
• Basic Development Understanding: Familiarity with web technologies and development concepts
• AI Tools: Interest in learning ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Midjourney, and other AI applications
• Analytics: Google Analytics and basic data analysis tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field
• Interest in AI and emerging technologies with willingness to learn and grow
• Digital marketing or e-commerce experience: Understanding of online business models
• Agency or consulting experience with diverse client portfolio
• Basic technical curiosity and ability to learn new tools and systems

• Knowledge sharing with team members on emerging technologies and best practices
• Quality assurance ensuring all technical deliverables meet professional standards

• Support revenue growth through technical expertise in pre-sales and delivery
• Enable AI service offerings through technical specification and implementation support
• Client retention through exceptional technical consulting and project delivery

WORKING ARRANGEMENT

Location: Hanoi, Vietnam (Cau Giay District)

 Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (Monday-Friday) with 1-hour lunch break

 Collaboration: Regular video calls with Melbourne team (early morning/late afternoon)
