Our first platform (then called MyRecipes) gave professional chefs in New Zealand the ability to cost recipes in minutes and generate accurate nutrition data—something that had previously been slow, error-prone, and frustrating.

We didn’t set out to make headlines (though we did). For us, this was just the beginning of a mission: to build the tools food professionals actually need, not the ones the industry thinks they should settle for.

Our team is small, sharp, and deliberate about who we bring in. Right now, we’re ready to make space for a NestJS developer who’s confident in TypeScript, thrives on clean server-side architecture, and wants their code to have direct, real-world impact.

What You’ll Need to Bring

Proven experience with NestJS and modern TypeScript.

A deep understanding of server-side logic and scalable architecture.

Solid PostgreSQL knowledge—schema design, performance tuning, real-world optimization.

Strong experience building APIs that work across frontend, backend, and external systems.

An instinct for reliability, performance, and security at scale.

A testing mindset that values stability without slowing delivery.

Excellent communication skills—you’ll need to collaborate across product, design, and ops.

What You’ll Actually Do

Design and maintain robust services with NestJS.

Build APIs that power real-world use cases and integrate with payments, support, and analytics tools.

Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases to keep everything running fast.

Ensure performance and security standards aren’t just met, but expected.

Test, debug, and refine code with a focus on what actually matters.

Work directly with product and design to translate requirements into tools chefs truly use.

Yêu cầu công việc

Must have:

• 3+ years python experience
• 1+ years machine learning experience. Experience with libraries like Scikit-Learn
• Experience with backend API’s
• Experience with relational or non-relational databases. Eg Mongo and Postgres
• Experience with FastAPI or similar

Might have:

• General knowledge in python libraries related to scraping, data processing.
• Experience with Dev-ops (CI/CD)
• Experience with pipelines
• Basic English communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Note: Successful candidates will work on-site in Ha Noi.
