Senior QA Consultant (Java, SQL)

We are hiring a Senior QA Consultant with strong hands-on expertise across manual and automation testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our web, mobile, and enterprise applications. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in agile environments, working across Java-based testing frameworks, mobile platforms, and API/database validation. This role demands a detail-oriented professional who can design test strategies, drive automation coverage, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional development teams.

Key Responsibilities

•     Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts across web and mobile applications.

•     Perform manual and automated functional, regression, smoke, sanity, UI/UX, API, database, and compatibility testing.

•     Build and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, and the Page Object Model.

•     Conduct mobile application testing across Android and iOS platforms.

•     Validate APIs using tools such as Postman; perform performance testing using JMeter or BlazeMeter.

•     Execute database testing and data validation using SQL queries and tools such as MongoDB Compass.

•     Identify, document, and track defects using Jira, Xray, Testworthy, TestRail, or similar tools.

•     Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to clarify requirements and verify acceptance criteria.

•     Maximize test coverage on critical features and identify high-risk areas through application analysis.

•     Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies and conduct daily sync-ups with onshore and offshore teams.

•     Contribute to QA process improvements, automation strategy, and team mentorship.

•     Working time:               Monday to Friday, 14:00-23:00

Yêu cầu công việc

•     8+ years of QA experience covering both manual and automation testing in agile environments.

•     Strong hands-on expertise with Selenium WebDriver, Appium, and Playwright using Java.

•     Proven experience testing native and hybrid mobile applications on Android and iOS.

•     Solid experience with API testing (Postman), performance testing (JMeter, BlazeMeter), and cross-browser/platform testing (BrowserStack).

•     Working knowledge of databases and SQL for data verification.

•     Familiarity with test management and reporting tools: Jira, Xray, Testworthy, TestRail, Allure, Extent Reports.

•     Strong understanding of agile/scrum methodologies and SDLC best practices.

•     Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

•     Detail-oriented mindset with proven ability to identify application weaknesses and edge cases.

Preferred Qualifications

•     Experience working in healthcare, fintech, or education technology domains.

•     Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests in Jenkins or similar tooling.

•     Experience mentoring junior QA Consultants and leading QA strategy on medium-to-large projects.

•     Scrum Fundamentals or Scrum Foundation Professional certification.

Education

•     Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (required).
