We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Fabric Developer with deep, hands-on expertise in architecting and implementing enterprise-grade data solutions within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem. This role is designed for a technical expert who thrives on solving complex data engineering challenges for large-scale, high-volume systems.

As a key technical contributor, you will own the design, development, and optimization of our modern data platform. You will collaborate closely with product teams, data engineers, and enterprise stakeholders to transform massive, complex datasets into high-performance, secure, and scalable digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Enterprise Microsoft Fabric Development

• End-to-End Architecture: Design, build, and deploy robust, production-grade data solutions using the full Microsoft Fabric suite, including OneLake, Data Factory, Synapse Data Engineering/Data Science, and Power BI.
• Large-Scale Data Pipelines: Build and optimize complex ETL/ELT pipelines, notebook processes, and dataflows capable of handling massive data volumes for both real-time streaming and batch processing.
• Lakehouse & Warehouse Optimization: Architect and manage enterprise Lakehouses and Data Warehouses, implementing efficient Delta Lake storage structures, partitioning strategies, and performance tuning.
• Data Governance & Security: Implement strict data governance, security protocols, row/column-level security, and access controls within OneLake and across the Fabric workspace.

2. Engineering Excellence & System Integration

• CI/CD & Automation: Establish and drive best practices for data operations (DataOps), including version control, automated deployment pipelines (CI/CD) for Fabric items, and environment management.
• System Integration: Seamlessly connect Microsoft Fabric with various enterprise data sources, on-premises systems, and Azure services (Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Key Vault).

3. Technical Leadership & Collaboration

• Stakeholder Management: Work closely with Product Managers, Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and other stakeholders to translate complex enterprise requirements into high-performance technical roadmaps.
• Code Quality & Governance: Provide solution architectures, lead in-depth code and architecture reviews to ensure technical excellence, system reliability, and strict adherence to clean data engineering practices.
• Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior data developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and engineering growth.

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Core Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in enterprise data engineering or database development, with at least 2+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience delivering large-scale Microsoft Fabric projects.
• Technical Mastery in Fabric: Deep, practical knowledge of OneLake architecture, Synapse Data Engineering (Spark/PySpark notebooks), Data Factory pipelines, and enterprise Power BI deployment.
• Programming Languages: Advanced proficiency in Python (PySpark) and SQL. Familiarity with T-SQL and DAX is highly desirable.
• Large System Expertise: Proven track record of designing data architectures that handle high-volume datasets, complex data modeling, and performance optimization for enterprise-level systems.
• Azure Ecosystem: Strong familiarity with supporting Azure services such as Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2), Azure SQL, Azure Functions, and Azure Key Vault.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a proven track record of managing enterprise stakeholder expectations.
