We are looking for a talented and passionate AI/ML Engineer to join our advanced mapping development team. You will be responsible for researching, designing, and implementing Machine Learning and AI algorithms to improve map-making processes, optimize spatial data, and build accurate and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and develop Machine Learning & Deep Learning models for spatial data analysis, object detection, image classification, and image segmentation.
• Build and optimize data processing pipelines for maps from various sources such as satellites, street-level imagery, and crowd-sourced data.
• Develop AI algorithms to automate the map creation process, including identifying roads, buildings, trees, water bodies, and other geographic elements.
• Collaborate with GIS Engineers and Data Engineers to integrate AI/ML models into existing mapping systems.
• Build tools and APIs to integrate AI/ML data into the company‘s mapping platform.
• Conduct research and apply cutting-edge technologies in Computer Vision and Deep Learning related to map-making.

Job Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience working in the field of AI/ML, especially in projects related to mapping or spatial data.

Programming Skills & Experience in Computer Vision:

Programming Skills:

• Proficient in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or other AI frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Computer Vision

 Computer Vision Techniques & Applications:

• Core Techniques: Object Detection, Segmentation (Semantic & Instance), Classification, Image Matching.
• Frameworks & Tool: YOLO, OpenCV, Detectron2, FastAI, TensorFlow Serving, Docker

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with open-source mapping technologies such as Tegola, Mapbox, OpenStreetMap, GeoServer.
• Experience with Big Data frameworks such as Spark, Kafka, or Hadoop.
• Knowledge of MLOps and deploying AI/ML models in production environments.
