Description: We are looking for a IT Support Specialist to help maintain and secure our IT systems and infrastructure. You will be responsible for enforcing physical security measures, assisting with equipment maintenance and tracking, supporting secure disposal procedures, and ensuring the safety of IT assets. You will also help with device setup, software installation, and mobile device management. Additionally, you'll assist in incident management, business continuity efforts, and provide technical support to ensure smooth operations. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow in IT security and support within a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforce and monitor physical entry controls.
    Implement security protocols for sensitive areas and secure workspaces.
    Enforce clear desk and screen policies within facilities.
    Manage access controls for secure areas.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement protective measures for external threats.
  • Support physical secure perimeter requirements.
  • Assist in security control reviews.
  • Regularly maintain and update the Physical Assets list, including but not limited to laptops, monitors, cables, and projectors.
  • Implement and monitor physical security for IT equipment and utilities.
  • Secure network cables and ensure proper equipment disposal.
  • Manage secure disposal procedures for hardware and removable media.
  • Assist with equipment maintenance, tracking, and off-premises security.
  • Support new device setup and anti-malware tool installation.
  • Help with technical aspects of policy enforcement and incident management.
  • Assist with incident management and recovery plans for physical assets.
  • Ensure critical systems availability and resolve mobile device management issues..

Yêu cầu công việc

  • 6 to 12 months of experience in IT Helpdesk or IT Support roles, with hands-on troubleshooting and technical support.
  • Basic knowledge of IT hardware, software, mobile device management (MDM), and endpoint security.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow security protocols and procedures.
  • Effective communication skills to work with end-users.
  • Ability to communicate in English is a plus.
