Automation Tester (Python Developer)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Automation Tester with strong Python development experience to join our QA team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure the reliability and performance of our applications.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of software testing principles and the ability to write robust test automation scripts using Python.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python.

Create and enhance test frameworks for functional, regression, integration, and API testing.

Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify issues.

Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members to ensure software quality.

Maintain test documentation and report test results with clarity.

Investigate test failures, report bugs, and track issues through resolution.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in test automation.

Continuously improve test coverage and test efficiency.

Requirements:

2–5+ years of experience in automation testing with Python.

Strong programming skills in Python.

Experience with test automation frameworks such as PyTest, unittest, or Robot Framework.

Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Appium for UI testing.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs and tools like Postman or requests library.

Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

Experience working with version control systems (Git).

Good understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and SDLC.

Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., Locust, JMeter).

Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments.

Experience writing test cases based on BDD (e.g., Behave or Cucumber).

Experience with test result visualization/reporting tools (e.g., Allure Reports).
