Provide a better healthcare experience to patients and practitioners by using telemedicine.

TeleMe’s Co-founder Aqeel Ahamad first realise the potential of Telemedicine while in medical school in Ireland when he saw a GP he was attached to practicing telemedicine but this time through a phone call. Aqeel then asked him if there was a video consultation platform in which to consult patients, would he be interested in using it and he answered yes. This simple question resulted in the birth of TeleMe.

Together with Mark Choo, they have spent the last few months getting feedback from doctors and users alike and developing the TeleMe system with the sole aim of improving patient’s healthcare experience through better clinical outcomes and an easier and more convenient access to potential doctors or their favourite doctors.

We are using tokbox for video, pub nub to add a scalable relatime environment and nexmo to send out text messaging. We also send out emails using send grid. Apart from using 3rd party apis, we also build our own custom tech- digital signature. For realtime messaging we are using a gem with a few custom features added
