Agricultural Bank of China is one of the largest state-controlled commercial bank in China

On 2nd October 2012, ABC was authorized by the State Bank of Vietnam to establish a representative office in Hanoi. The Hanoi Representative Office held its grand opening on November 28, 2012. Hanoi Representative Office is the second overseas institution established by ABC in Southeast Asia, and is the first overseas institution of ABC in developing country. The establishment of Hanoi   Representative Office manifests an important step of ABC in penetrating Asian markets and strengthening presence in emerging countries.
  ABC Hanoi Representative Office has been open for 5 years up to now,  and recently ABC was approved in principle to establish a branch in Hanoi by the State Bank of Vietnam.
