Job description

MEGAZONE CLOUD is looking for a passionate AWS Cloud Pre-sales Engineer to join our growing technical sales team in Hanoi. This is an exciting opportunity to work with enterprise customers and AWS, helping organizations accelerate their cloud transformation journey.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Sales team to understand customer business requirements and design secure, scalable, and cost-effective AWS cloud solutions. You will serve as the technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, supporting solution design, customer presentations, demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and proposal development. You will also work with AWS and internal delivery teams to ensure successful solution positioning and customer engagement.

This role reports to the Head of Business.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the Sales team to understand customer business and technical requirements. 
• Design AWS cloud architectures and recommend best-fit solutions based on customer needs. 
• Deliver technical presentations, solution demonstrations, workshops, and customer consultations. 
• Prepare technical proposals, architecture diagrams, BOM, SOW, and supporting documentation. 
• Respond to RFP, RFQ, and RFI requests with comprehensive technical solutions. 
• Collaborate with AWS and internal engineering teams to develop competitive cloud solutions. 
• Support Proof of Concept (PoC) planning and execution. 
• Stay up to date with AWS services, cloud technologies, and industry best practices. 

What You Will Do

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. 
• 2+ years of experience in Pre-sales, Solution Architecture, Cloud Engineering, or related technical consulting roles. 
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services, including compute, networking, storage, databases, security, and container technologies. 
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable cloud architectures. 
• Excellent communication, presentation, and customer-facing skills. 
• Experience preparing technical documentation and proposal materials. 
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. 
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and customer-oriented environment. 

Your skills and experience

Basic Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in Cloud Pre-sales, Solution Architecture, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Consulting. 
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, EKS, Lambda, CloudFormation, and related technologies. 
• Experience supporting enterprise customers throughout the pre-sales lifecycle. 
• Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Vietnamese. 
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional. 
• Experience working with AWS Partner organizations or cloud service providers. 
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud, migration, Kubernetes, DevOps, or security solutions. 
• Experience delivering customer workshops, technical demonstrations, and PoCs. 
• Passion for learning new cloud technologies and helping customers solve complex business challenges.
