Full Stack Lead / Engineering Manager (NodeJS/ ReactJS)

• Our client is a leading Information Security MSP looking to build out an elite team to develop cutting-edge products in the threat identification and management space.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-oriented and technically proficient Project Lead/Engineering Manager to lead a team of full-stack engineers. In this role, you will own the development outcomes, provide technical leadership, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that align with business goals. You will play a key role in driving the technical vision and translating business requirements into actionable product stories and technical tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design, development, and delivery of scalable full-stack applications using Node.js, React.js, Next.js, Docker, Redis and Postgres
• Architect job-scheduling and batch automation applications processes to ensure reliable and fault-tolerant data collection and processing.
• Translate business requirements into detailed product stories and functional specifications
• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of full-stack engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and operations teams to plan and execute development roadmaps
• Utilize agile project management methodologies to guide the team and adapt to changing priorities
• Define project scope, goal, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
• Communicate project progress, risks, and technical challenges to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
• Promote coding best practices, testing standards, deployment strategies, and security protocols within the development team 

Your skills and experience

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3-5 years in team leadership or engineering management
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and continuous integration/deployment pipelines
• Strong expertise with Node.js, React.js, Next.js, Docker, and Postgres
• Prior experience working with Linux-based VMs in a production environment     

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity in working with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
• Prior experience in architecting and operating large scale distributed ETL processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud products such as Azure DevOps Pipelines and Repos
