Job description

1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis

• Collaborate with stakeholders (CEO, merchants, operations, customers) to gather, analyze, and clarify business requirements.
• Understand operational workflows across POS, Merchant Services, and Booking systems.
• Identify root business needs, perform impact analysis for change requests, and prioritize the product backlog.

2. Business Analysis & Domain Expertise

• Analyze business processes for POS transactions, payment services, and booking management.
• Define functional requirements for payment, merchant onboarding, reservations, appointments, and related workflows.
• Ensure business processes align with compliance and data security standards.

3. Documentation

• Prepare BRD, PRD, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and process diagrams (BPMN, Use Cases, Activity, Sequence).
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.

4. Business & Technical Collaboration

• Translate business requirements into development-ready User Stories.
• Work closely with Product, Development, and Tech Leads during Sprint Planning and implementation.
• Support technical feasibility assessments for third-party integrations.

5. Testing & UAT

• Partner with QA to define test scenarios and validate business requirements.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with end users and ensure delivered features meet business expectations.

6. Change Management

• Evaluate change requests, assess business impact, and manage scope changes through proper approval processes.
• Communicate requirement changes to project stakeholders and delivery teams.

7. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Prepare release notes, monitor requirement fulfillment, and recommend process improvements based on business feedback and product performance.

Your skills and experience

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a software or IT company.
• Experience with POS systems, Merchant Services/Payments, or Booking Platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum, requirements gathering, User Stories, BRD/PRD, and acceptance criteria.
• Proficient in BPMN 2.0, process modeling, and project management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Professional English communication skills (written and spoken); prefer TOEIC 700+ OR IELTS 6.0+.

Nice to Have

• Experience with BPM tools (Bizagi, Camunda, Lucidchart, Visio, etc.).
• Startup experience or relevant BA certifications (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, OMG-OCEB).
