Mô tả công việc
Objective:
We are looking for a Pega Developer to design and build components of applications on Pega PRPC — Pega's low-code application development platform. Unlike traditional software development, work on Pega is primarily done through visual configuration, drag-and-drop rules, and model-driven design rather than writing large volumes of code from scratch. The role works under the supervision of the Lead System Architect to ensure the business and technical architecture of the delivered solution matches customer/user requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research, learn, and develop business requirements on the Pega platform (PRPC); ensure the delivered solution aligns with the agreed business and technical architecture.
- Collaborate with project team members to ensure the progress and quality of deliverables.
- Complete all tasks assigned by the Team Lead/Deputy CIO/CIO fully and on schedule.
- Coordinate with other teams to achieve the unit's overall goals.
- Work with outsourced partners/staff throughout requirement gathering, testing, go-live deployment, and knowledge transfer.
- Contribute to achieving the department's overall targets and goals.
Yêu cầu công việc
- At least 4 years of experience in Java programming (used mainly for custom integrations and extending Pega's out-of-the-box capabilities, not for building the application from scratch)
- Experience across all phases of software development, including design, configuration, testing, debugging, implementation, and support of large-scale, business-centric, process-based applications.
- Solid understanding and demonstrated application of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to one or more of the following technologies: WebSphere/WebLogic, J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Java), .NET, Oracle, DB2, MS SQL Server.
- Knowledge of BPMN is a plus.
