⭐️ Perifit is a profitable and fast-growing Femtech startup based in Paris, France, with a software team based in Ho Chi Minh City. Turnover was multiplied by 100 in 5 years!

Our first product, the Perifit (a connected probe and its mobile games), launched in 2018, has become the #1 connected solution for pelvic floor rehabilitation. As of now, it has helped more than 500,000 women and is the best-ranked app in its category.

Why we need you 🚀

Our apps (Perifit Care and Perifit Pump) are technically ambitious: hybrid mobile applications that combine Bluetooth connectivity, game logic coded in Unity, and a React Native user interface, with a backend based on MySQL PHP. We need a deeply technical engineer who can ensure the robustness, scalability, and reliability of this stack.

You will initially focus on Perifit Care. You will be the go-to technical reference for the apps, capable of understanding the big picture and going deep into specific parts when needed.

What you will be doing 🎯

• React Native Development: Own the front-end architecture, ensuring high performance, maintainability, and a smooth UX
• Technical Decision-Making: Drive architecture decisions and technical trade-offs, manage tech debt, and shape the technical roadmap for the apps.
• Quality & Standards: Define and enforce testing strategy, and coding standards; own performance profiling and scalability.
• Algorithms & Signal Processing: understand the algorithm in the app and manage unity dev to implement algorithms for signal processing, noise reduction, and decision-making within the app.
• App Deployment: Own app releases on iOS and Android stores, manage CI/CD pipelines, and ensure smooth updates.
• Cross-team Communication: Act as the bridge between engineering and product teams, translating technical challenges into clear explanations for stakeholders.
• Regulatory-readiness mindset: Work in coordination with QA/RA teams to ensure features are developed with robustness and traceability in mind, in line with CE/FDA requirements.

You will shine if ✨

• You've already deployed complex React Native + Unity applications at scale.
• You have experience with Bluetooth-connected consumer devices.
• You've worked in a regulated healthcare or medtech environment.
• You are familiar with CI/CD and DevOps pipelines for mobile applications.
• You embrace AI-driven development and have integrated AI tooling into your day-to-day engineering workflow.

• React Native Mastery: 5+ years building and shipping production React Native apps at scale, including 2+ years owning the architecture of a complex production app.
• Backend & Database: Proven, hands-on experience with Firestore and SQL/MySQL databases.
• Algorithms & Signal Processing: Solid understanding of applied mathematics, real-time data processing, and algorithm design.
• Mobile Deployment: Ownership of the full app release process on the App Store and Google Play, including CI/CD.
• English Proficiency: Excellent written and spoken English for technical reporting and cross-team collaboration.
• AI-driven Development (nice to have): Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and workflows (e.g. coding agents, review AI works and test what AI done, etc.) to ship faster with high quality.
