• Monitor VPN infrastructure and network traffic for anomalies, performance issues, and security threats.
• Analyze events and respond to incidents promptly.
• Collaborate with the engineers and third parties to resolve issues.
• Track and document defects and resolutions through a designated ticketing system.
• Escalate complex issues to management and other relevant teams.
• Handle both technical and non-technical communication with users with diplomacy and politeness to provide high levels of client satisfaction.
• Perform regular audits and assessments of VPN configurations and access controls to maintain compliance with security standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and assist in their professional development.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in VPN platform monitoring, system administration, networking, and cloud computing.

Yêu cầu công việc

• Proven experience of at least 6 years as a NOC engineer and 3 years as NOC Lead Engineer, preferably in a VPN-focused environment.
• Experience in using diversified tools to monitor performance and capability of network systems and working to triage or troubleshoot the issues within defined areas.
• Efficient at tracking and documenting all defects and resolutions in detail through a designated ticketing system.
• Capable of proper escalation of complicated issues to management, other IT resources, third parties and/or vendors, as appropriate.
• Ability to work in a Command Center environment.
• Good knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.).
• Good knowledge of VPN technologies and protocols (OpenVPN, IPsec, SSL/TLS, WireGuard, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS, including EC2, VPC, IAM, and related services.
• Solid understanding of security principles and best practices in network and system administration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, CASP, AWS Certified SysOps
• Administrator, Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator) are a plus.
