Your skills and experience
Key Responsibilities:
We're looking for a highly capable and passionate engineer with a strong command of Golang and modern cloud-native technologies.
- Expertise in Go: You must have demonstrable experience writing production-level software in Golang, with a deep understanding of performance tuning, concurrency, and maintainability.
- Cloud Infrastructure (GCP): Strong skills in designing, deploying, and managing scalable systems on Google Cloud Platform.
- Elastic Database Management: Proven ability to optimise and manage Elasticsearch for speed, resilience, and reliability.
- Monitoring & Observability: Hands-on experience building dashboards and alerts using Grafana, Prometheus, or similar tools.
- Kubernetes & Containerization: You can deploy and manage containerised applications in production using Kubernetes.
- Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Proficient in tools like Ansible, Terraform, or other DevOps frameworks to automate infrastructure and deployments.
- Security & Compliance: You understand how to build secure systems that meet regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Collaborative Engineering: A team player who thrives in cross-functional settings, working closely with developers, product owners, and operations to deliver impactful software.
- Incident Management: You stay calm under pressure, are quick to respond, and can debug complex issues to keep systems performing at their best.
