You’ll also be working at the frontier of AI: 70% of our portfolio today is LLM-powered. Our engineers leverage the latest tools like Cursor, Claude, and Codex to move faster, write cleaner code, and solve harder problems.

What You’ll Do

• Contribute to real production projects for US-based startups.
• Learn and build in one or more areas:
  • Backend (APIs, databases, cloud infra, distributed systems)
  • Frontend (React, TypeScript, Next.js, UI/UX)
  • AI/LLM (RAG pipelines, vector DBs, evals, guardrails)
  • DevOps/Infra (CI/CD, Kubernetes, observability)
• Ship features end-to-end with mentorship from senior Spartan engineers.
• Participate in our proven process: async standups, PRDs/RFCs, code reviews, testing.
• Experiment with AI-native tooling (Cursor, Claude, Codex) to boost your workflow.

Your skills and experience

What We’re Looking For

• Strong English communication - you’ll collaborate directly with US-based teams.
• Strong ownership mindset - proactive, takes initiative, and follows through on tasks. 
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn fast — a builder’s mindset.
• Solid foundation in at least one area: algorithms, data structures, databases, or web dev.
• Familiarity with modern programming languages (TypeScript, Python, Go, Java/Kotlin, etc.).
• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) OR recent graduate.
