About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Engineer / Pre-sales Consultant to establish and lead Akkuro’s solution consulting presence in Vietnam while supporting our strategic growth across Southeast Asia.

Akkuro is Topicus's flagship composable banking platform, bringing together solutions across the entire financial lifecycle. As our first Senior Solution Engineer / Pre-sales Consultant in Vietnam, you will join the team responsible for Akkuro’s international growth, working closely with regional leadership and bank executives. You will act as a client-facing bridge between business priorities and technology - combining banking expertise, consultative selling, and local market insight to turn complex financial challenges into credible, value-driven solution proposals.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Establish Akkuro’s solution consulting presence, methodology, and technical presales approach in Vietnam.
• Lead discovery engagements and workshops with banks to understand business priorities, operating models, user journeys, and legacy constraints.
• Map bank requirements into end-to-end integration flows and solution blueprints using Akkuro's standard composable platform capabilities and APIs (no core product architecture design required).
• Position Akkuro’s core propositions (digital lending, savings/CASA, collections, digital wealth, and AI document processing) to align with client commercial goals.
• Deliver tailored product demonstrations, solution workshops, and proofs of concept (PoCs) for prospective enterprise customers.
• Lead technical and commercial responses for RFIs, RFPs, architectural proposals, and partner enablement materials.
• Build trusted relationships with C-level business leaders, enterprise architects, and engineering teams across Southeast Asia as a trusted advisor.

Your skills and experience

• 5+ years of experience in Presales Consulting, Solution Engineering, Technical Sales, or Technical Solution Consulting.
• Proven track record working directly with banks, digital banks, or regulated financial institutions in a client-facing / presales capacity.
• Solid understanding of API-first architectures, microservices, cloud-native platforms, and core banking integrations to effectively advise clients and map solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to run customer discovery sessions and translate complex business needs into clear commercial and technical proposals.
• Experience delivering engaging solution demonstrations, value-led proposals, and responding to enterprise RFPs/RFIs.
• Confident engaging senior bank stakeholders, presenting business value, and defending solution alignment.
• Professional fluency in English and Vietnamese.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with regional and international teams.

Nice to Have

• Strong domain knowledge in at least two areas: digital lending, savings/CASA, payments, collections, onboarding, or wealth management.
• Experience working in a global SaaS or FinTech vendor ecosystem in Southeast Asia.
• Experience working for a banking software vendor, fintech platform, system integrator, or consulting firm.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled banking workflows and intelligent document processing.
