Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from discovery to production release
- Define and manage scope, priorities, and delivery goals at both strategic and sprint levels
- Break down product requirements into structured, actionable tasks with clear acceptance criteria
- Lead and scale Agile processes (Scrum/Kanban) ensuring efficiency and continuous improvement
- Proactively identify and manage risks, blockers, and cross-team dependencies
- Provide transparent progress reporting to leadership and stakeholders, including risks and mitigation plans
- Align closely with CTO/CPO on reprioritization, scope adjustments, and resource allocation
- Maintain synchronization between product, design, and engineering teams across multiple streams
- Oversee and coordinate the release process, ensuring quality and stability in production
- Propose and implement workflow improvements, delivery metrics, and productivity tools
- Configure and manage project management environments (Jira, Confluence, Slack)
- Mentor junior PMs or team members, sharing knowledge and best practices
Your skills and experience
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager in IT (preferably in software product companies or startups)
- Strong understanding of the entire SDLC, including architecture basics, frontend/backend interactions, APIs, CI/CD workflows
- Track record of successfully delivering projects from discovery to release, including risk and change management
- Solid Agile delivery management expertise (Scrum, Kanban, scaling practices)
- Advanced skills in Jira, Confluence, Slack and ability to configure/manage workflows
- Proven ability to decompose complex initiatives into structured tasks with dependencies
- Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Ability to handle stakeholder management at both operational and executive levels
- Excellent organizational skills, accountability, and problem-solving mindset
- English level: C1 or higher (for confident international collaboration, reporting, and documentation)
Nice to Have
- Experience leading distributed and cross-functional teams across time zones
- Background in QA, development, or system/business analysis
- Hands-on experience launching products from early-stage startup environments
- Familiarity with release and change management practices in fast-growing companies
- Ability to analyze and improve delivery metrics (velocity, throughput, cycle time)
- Experience contributing to strategic planning and long-term roadmaps
