Job description

Primary Objective

• Work closely with the business users to understand business needs and is a major contributor to the requirements specification deliverable, writes the business and functional requirements.
• Coordinate with solutions vendors, developers, designers, and testers to develop digital solutions answering business requirement.

Main Responsibilities

• Create and monitor user stories with system development team.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to determine development approaches, scope, and expected timeline of projects / releases.
• Conduct interviews with clients and related departments to identify opportunities to optimize user experience and efficiency of business operations.
• Write documents on business processes, system features and specifications to share among multiple development teams.
• Seek vendors, explain requirements, compare solutions from different angles such as functionalities, cost, and delivery ability.
• Manage projects in terms of timeline and quality.
• Support end users on system usage.
• Maintain the close relationship with both internal and external users, suppliers to ensure the value created through the utility and warranty of services assigned

Your skills and experience

1. Education Level

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or equivalent. 

2. Knowledge & Experiences

• 3-5 years’ experience in business analysis or system analysis in capital market (trading system or fintech), and minimum 1 year in managing internal projects. 
• Concrete knowledge in Equities and Futures trading workflow (order lifecycle, execution, allocation, clearing), Order Management System (OMS) and FIX (Financial Information eXchange) standard including message flows, session management, and practical integration scenarios.
• Experience in financial trading (FIX) Networks (Bloomberg, Autex, NYFIX, Charles River, FlexTrade, SSC FIX Link, Fidessa…) and post trade system DTCC CTM/Alert or other financial system such as SWIFT. 
• Familiarity with electronic trading ecosystems: exchanges, brokers, market data feeds, and connectivity protocols.
• Exposure to algorithmic trading or strategy development workflows.
• Experience in Agile way of work is a plus.

3. Technical Skills

• Ability to translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, sequence diagrams, and data flows.
• Strong Excel and SQL skills for data analysis and validation.
• Strong log analysis/debuging skills.
• Proficient in using diagram softwares.
• Moderate knowledge in computer system and nework.
• Familiar with work collaboration tools, such as JIRA, Confluence.

4. Soft Skills

• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and contribute to new ideas required in a diverse, fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment.
• Highly self-motivated and directed.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent English communication (written and verbal), with the ability to clearly articulate business and technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
