Job description
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in backend development practices and lead implementation of scalable, maintainable backend systems.
- Analyze high-level requirements and translate them into technical designs and deliverable tasks.
- Produce clean, testable code and maintain high standards for code quality, observability and documentation.
- Build and expose robust APIs (RESTful / GraphQL) for web and mobile clients; ensure backward compatibility and clear versioning.
- Implement and maintain automated tests (unit & integration), CI/CD pipelines and deployment scripts.
- Troubleshoot functional, performance and reliability issues, conduct performance profiling and optimization.
- Mentor developers, promote best coding practices, and foster collaborative team culture.
- Follow secured coding practices and participate in code reviews.
Your skills and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3+ years professional backend development experience (Senior/Lead: 10+ years preferred).
- Command a strong understanding of SOLID principles.
- Strong expertise in C# and .NET including asynchronous programming, TPL, LINQ, lambda expressions and threading concepts.
- Solid experience with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and at least one NoSQL system (Redis, MongoDB, etc.)
- Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
- Experience with version control (Git) and unit testing frameworks (e.g. xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest).
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Practical experience with containerization and deployment (Docker); familiarity with CI/CD (e.g. GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
- Ability to work independently, communicate clearly and collaborate in agile teams.
- Proficiency in English (reading/writing).

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure).
