[Remote] AWS Infrastructure Solution Architect

Job description

• Design AWS-based infrastructure architectures that meet business and technical requirements (performance, availability, scalability, security).
• Provision and manage AWS services such as EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, Lambda, ECS/EKS, and more.
• Define best practices for infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Ensure system reliability, backup and disaster recovery strategies, and cloud cost optimization.
• Implement and maintain security and compliance standards in cloud environments.
• Support infrastructure monitoring, logging, and incident response mechanisms.
• Provide internal training or documentation to share AWS infrastructure knowledge across teams.
• Stay up to date with AWS services, trends, and tools to continuously improve our infrastructure stack.

Your skills and experience

Required:

• 3–5 years of experience working with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with core AWS services: EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, Auto Scaling, etc.
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture, networking (VPC, VPN, Subnets, Routing, NAT, etc.), and Linux systems.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, etc.).
• Good understanding of security best practices in AWS environments.
• Team management.

Preferred:

• AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, EKS.
• Exposure to multi-cloud environments (GCP, Azure) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
