Job description
Forix is seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager Assistant to join our award-winning team that specializes in delivering ongoing eCommerce support and development services to clients worldwide. As a Project Manager Assistant, you will take full ownership of projects from planning through delivery, ensuring client satisfaction, timely execution, and high-quality outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee project lifecycles, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
- Serve as the main point of contact between clients and internal teams, ensuring all requirements are clearly defined, communicated, and understood.
- Manage project timelines, scope and team workloads to ensure successful and timely delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with developers, QA testers, designers, and other stakeholders to meet project goals.
- Monitor progress closely and provide accurate, consistent status reports to clients and internal leadership.
- Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks/issues, making decisions to keep projects on track.
- Ensure all implementations and deployments meet business requirements and quality standards.
- Maintain strong communication and collaboration with US-based Project Managers and leadership.
Your skills and experience
- At least 2 years of professional experience in Project Management, ideally within IT, software development, or eCommerce projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (mandatory).
- Hands-on experience with at least one project management methodology (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.) and familiarity with others.
- Strong grasp of project management fundamentals: planning, scheduling, risk management, change management, and quality control.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proactive problem-solver with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
- Experience with Magento, Shopify, BigCommerce, or other eCommerce platforms is a plus.
