Job description

• Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services —from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement. 
• Support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning and launch reviews. 
• Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health. 
• Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation and evolve systems to improve reliability and velocity. 
• Practice sustainable incident response, through delivery of incident response playbooks & automated recovery mechanisms to improve Mean Time to Restore 
• Run continuous Improvement activities that improve service availability, recovery, efficiency & performance.;
• Fulfil other tasks as assigned by your People Leader and/or authorized representative of NAB Vietnam from time to time.

Your skills and experience

• 10+ years of experience in IT industry with a focus on DevOps, Cloud & SRE Computing
• Language: Experienced in working with java programming language. Other useful language considered are TypeScript, Python and Ruby. Experience with microservices development and deployment using container technologies like Docker/ECS Container. Familiar with REST APIs; Miniapps 
• Platform Experience: Transport Layer Security ( OpenSSL; PEM; Java Key Stores); Linux / UNIX / Windows Operating Systems, Network protocols TCP/IP and ability to understand network issues. 
• Cloud Computing: Hands-on experience with AWS cloud computing platform services like ECS Cluster, EC2, S3, lambda, VPC; Policies; CloudWatch; CloudTrail; SQS; Kinesis. Must know on how to deploy, scale and manage applications on AWS platform. 
• Monitoring and Alerting: Experience in setting up monitoring and alerting using Splunk and/or AppDynamics. Proficient in querying, reporting and dashboarding using splunk. 
• Database Skills: Hands-on experience working AWS PostgreSQL RDS Database 
• Automation Skills: Familiar with automation tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Gradle and through knowledge of CI/CD concepts. 
• Incident Recovery and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to recover impacted services promptly; identify root cause of problems and come up with solutions quickly. 
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent English communication and collaboration skills are fundamentals skills for high performing SREs. They must work closely with developers, solution designers, other operations teams, product owners and other stakeholders to ensure that systems are reliable and scalable.
