Job description
- Manage multiple UI/UX Leads who manage Designers embedded in Scrum teams across products and platforms.
- Set cross‑project UX/UI vision and governance; align design direction with business strategy and customer outcomes.
- Lead and execute cross‑product/front‑end innovation initiatives grounded in deep user understanding and data.
- Define, evolve, and enforce shared design principles, guidelines, accessibility, and design‑system usage.
- Champion Design Thinking and Lean Start‑Up; translate user behaviors into insights that spark ideation and concept development.
- Facilitate design thinking workshops (ideation, prototyping, testing, feedback) across audiences from senior leaders to delivery teams.
- Establish and oversee multi‑level design reviews (team critiques, cross‑platform critiques, escalation/executive reviews) with clear gates.
- Manage senior stakeholder communication; align priorities, trade‑offs, and expected outcomes with Product/Engineering leadership.
- Develop, coach, and grow UI/UX Leads and senior designers; shape team structure, hiring plans, and career ladders.
- Align UX strategy with platform‑wide goals, product roadmaps, and customer experience strategy; prioritize design initiatives.
- Arrange and supervise prototyping; ensure feasibility and business viability are considered alongside desirability.
- Organize and guide user testing across discovery/build/launch; ensure research quality and ethical standards.
- Gather, systematize, and socialize user feedback and testing results so squads share intimate knowledge of customers.
- Conduct design reviews and quality audits of developed solutions; reduce rework, drive consistency and component reuse.
- Track and report UX impact and quality signals (usability KPIs, design‑system adoption, accessibility conformance).
Your skills and experience
- Proven track record leading multi‑team UX organizations and delivering cross‑product coherence at scale.
- 8+ years in Product/UX/UI Design, including 3+ years managing Leads/senior designers and cross‑functional initiatives.
- Service, Product, and UX Design skills; ability to connect strategy to execution and outcomes.
- Proficiency with Figma (or Sketch/InVision) and modern prototyping tools; familiarity with Storybook and design tokens.
- Proficient English (spoken/written) to conduct and facilitate design processes with global stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of Agile working principles
- Excellent public speaking, facilitation, and executive storytelling; comfortable running critiques and workshops.
- Prior work leading digital UX definition and design‑system adoption across web and mobile.
- Trained and experienced in Design Thinking and Lean Start‑Up; evidence‑based decision making using qual/quant methods.
