About the Role

We are seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to build a next-generation AI-powered OCR platform for the financial industry. This solution processes large volumes of financial documents using modern machine learning and computer vision techniques to automate document recognition, extraction and validation.

The product is part of Akkuro, one of the leading composable banking platforms. Our Vietnam team will independently own and further develop this product, giving you significant technical ownership and the opportunity to influence its future direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize AI-powered OCR solutions in Python.
• Build and improve machine learning models for document recognition and data extraction.
• Process and analyze large datasets using Pandas and related data processing libraries.
• Train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models using TensorFlow or similar frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, testers, and software engineers.
• Improve model accuracy, performance, and scalability.
• Investigate new AI technologies and propose improvements to the product.
• Take ownership of technical decisions and mentor other engineers.

Yêu cầu công việc

• 5+ years of experience developing Python applications.
• Strong experience with machine learning and AI.
• Experience with TensorFlow (or similar frameworks such as PyTorch).
• Excellent knowledge of Pandas and data processing.
• Experience working with OCR, computer vision, or document processing is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and cloud-based deployments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English communication skills (communication with international stakeholders).
