The Career Opportunity

Want to work for a Singapore-based Tech Company? We are looking for a QC Engineer with 2 years of experience to join our growing team and help drive product quality as we scale.

The QC Engineer plays a key role in ensuring the stability and performance of our ERP and SaaS-based web applications. You will work closely with the BA, Developers, and Product teams to test and validate system functionalities, identify bugs, and contribute to continuous quality improvements.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Test Planning and Execution:
   • Review requirements, user stories, and designs to develop test plans and detailed test cases.
   • Execute manual functional, integration, regression, and exploratory tests across web and mobile applications.
   • Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
2. Defect Management:
   • Identify, log, and track defects using Jira with clear steps to reproduce and supporting evidence.
   • Work closely with developers to reproduce, analyse, and verify fixes.
3. Automation and Tools:
   • Knowledge or hands-on with test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress).
   • Execute automated test scripts if available and report results.
4. Technical Understanding:
   • Understanding of frontend and backend structures (API endpoints, database interactions).
   • Ability to interpret logs and identify potential issues related to the FE or BE.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
   • Collaborate with BAs and Developers to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage.
   • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
   • Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to the team.
6. Documentation:
   • Maintain test case repositories and ensure test cases are up-to-date with product changes.
   • Document test results and prepare test summary reports for releases.

Yêu cầu công việc

• At least 2 years of experience in software testing for web and/or mobile applications.
• Experience in creating clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with Jira/Confluence.
• Understanding of API testing (using tools like Postman).
• Familiar with using SQL to verify data in databases is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to work independently and within a team, with a problem-solving mindset.
• Good communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Experience with test automation is a plus but not mandatory.
