We are seeking talented and motivated Java Engineers to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Java enterprise application development using modern frameworks and technologies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications and services using Java technologies.
• Develop scalable and high-performance applications using Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC).
• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and database integrations.
• Implement object-oriented design principles and coding best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and Project Managers.
• Prepare technical documentation and support deployment activities.
• For bilingual candidates, communicate with Japanese and/or Chinese stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates.

Technical Requirements

• Minimum 1+ years of experience as a Java Developer (open to Junior, Middle, Senior level) in complex or enterprise-level environments.

Strong knowledge of: 

• Core Java/ Java EE (JEE)
• Spring Framework: Spring Boot/ Spring MVC
• Nice to have: Hibernate / JPA, JSP / Servlets
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Good understanding of relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Understanding of system integration and API development.

Language Requirements

1. Option 1: Java Engineer – English Speaking | Good communication skills in English.
2. Option 2: Java Engineer - Japanese Speaking | Japanese proficiency (JLPT N3/N2/N1) & Ability to communicate with Japanese clients and stakeholders.
3. Option 3: Java Engineer - Mandarin Speaking | Mandarin Chinese proficiency (HSK certification is a plus) & Ability to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Equivalent practical experience is also welcomed.
