About the Role 

We are seeking a Senior AI Software Engineer (.NET, OCR & Document Intelligence) to drive the development of our next-generation AI-powered OCR platform for the financial industry. In this role, you will bridge the gap between advanced artificial intelligence and robust software engineering. You will design high-performance .NET backend services and build scalable document processing pipelines that seamlessly integrate OCR, Computer Vision, and LLMs into production.

The product is part of Akkuro, one of the leading composable banking platforms. Our Vietnam team will independently own and further develop this product, giving you significant technical ownership and the opportunity to influence its future direction.
 

Key Responsibilities 

• Design and develop high-performance .NET 9 backend services powering our OCR and Document Intelligence platform.
• Build scalable document processing pipelines capable of handling millions of documents for customers across Asia.
• Integrate OCR, Computer Vision, LLMs and Machine Learning models into production systems using modern AI services and APIs.
• Develop intelligent extraction pipelines for invoices, bank statements, contracts, identity documents and other financial documents.
• Optimize document classification, information extraction and validation for multilingual datasets with a focus on Asian languages.
• Build secure REST APIs and asynchronous processing pipelines using background workers and message queues.
• Improve OCR accuracy through image preprocessing, post-processing and confidence scoring.
• Contribute to architecture, scalability and cloud deployment using Docker and Kubernetes.

Yêu cầu công việc

• 5+ years of experience developing backend applications using C# and .NET. 
• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core, Web APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Experience building distributed or microservice-based applications.
• Experience integrating AI services such as Azure AI Document Intelligence, Azure OpenAI, OpenAI or other LLM APIs.
• Experience with OCR technologies such as Azure Document Intelligence, Tesseract, PaddleOCR or ABBYY.
• Understanding of machine learning concepts and how to deploy and integrate models into production systems.
