Job description
Our company is seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to lead the execution and delivery of projects related to different business domains. You will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration, and maintaining the highest levels of security and compliance. You will play a crucial role in planning, executing, and delivering complex projects, ensuring they are on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including researchers, engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to drive successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects from start to finish - using both waterfall & agile techniques depending on project characteristics
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
- Monitor and track project progress, identifying risks and issues early and mitigating them
- Communicate project status, risks, and timelines effectively to stakeholders at all levels
- Manage project scope changes and ensure that any changes are documented, communicated, and approved
- Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes to optimize efficiency and quality
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ensure seamless collaboration across different time zones and cultural backgrounds to maintain project alignment
- Act as the primary liaison between the development teams and Australian clients, ensuring clear communication of technical requirements and project expectations
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and best practices in project execution
Your skills and experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus
- Experience: +3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the software development, or technology industry. Experience managing projects involving financial transaction processing, card payment technologies, and associated security standards, machine learning, natural language processing, or other AI technologies is highly desirable
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) & know how to practice. Basic knowledge for technical systems such as: eKYC, CRM, CMS & AGI concepts and technologies is a significant advantage. Ability to understand technical requirements and communicate effectively with engineers
- Project Management Skills: Proven ability to plan, execute, and deliver complex projects on time and within budget. Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively
- Comfortable working in a highly collaborative and fast-paced work environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills to navigate different cultural and business expectations across regions
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Agile certifications (such as Scrum Master, PMP) would be advantageous
