About this position
We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Architect Manager (specialized in PHP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of backend architecture, extensive experience in PHP frameworks, and expertise in designing and developing REST APIs.
This role requires a leader who can mentor developers, establish coding standards, and ensure best practices are followed. Proficiency in English communication, especially in reading and writing, is essential. Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and familiarity with technologies like Linux, Git, and containerization platforms is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement APIs, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness
• Create comprehensive technical designs and ensure they are properly documented and communicated to the team
• Develop and maintain backend architecture to support scalable, extendible and reliable applications
• Accountable for working on code reviewing, bug fixing and assisting QA/QC Team 
• Actively participate in projects workshops and understanding requirements 
• Providing time estimates for new initiatives
• Mentor and assist junior developers, sharing your expertise and promoting best development practices. 
• Establish coding standard and best practices to train developers produce clean, efficient code
• Understanding of continuous integration / continuous delivery concepts and the ability to 
  troubleshoot related issues 

Your skills and experience

Must Have

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in PHP development, 5 years as technical leader, 2 years of Architect role
• Good communication in English (focus more in Reading and Writing) 
• Proficiency in PHP, Laravel/Lumen, MySQL, good Experience with Drupal, WordPress, knows their pros/cons 
• Rich Experience designing and developing REST APIs 
• Experience with Linux and the associated services used for web applications (Nginx, Apache2) 
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) 
• Familiarity with integrating third-party APIs and applications 
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Willing to learn new technologies when required

Nice to Have

• Experience building technical proposal for presale team
• Experience with containerization platforms such as Docker, Docker compose, Kubernetes
• Chinese speaking is a great plus
• Any additional programing language is a plus 
• Experience in Magento development is a plus 
• Experience in Phalcon development is a plus 
• Involvement in the Drupal community is a big plus 
• Experience in working with WeChat Mini Program or APP is a plus
