Job description

As a Senior Manager, Business Intelligence, you will be responsible for driving data-driven decision-making processes, overseeing analytics strategies, and leveraging data insights to support our company's growth and strategic objectives. This role reports directly to the Senior Manager, Data Science

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Lead the Business Intelligence team, setting the strategic direction and vision for data analysis, reporting, and business insights.
• Data Management: Oversee the collection, processing, and analysis of data from various sources to generate meaningful insights and drive informed business decisions.
• Analytics Strategy: Develop and implement effective analytics strategies aligned with company objectives, leveraging advanced analytics tools and methodologies.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights to support their initiatives.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to monitor business performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Team Management: Mentor, coach, and manage a team of analysts, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Data-driven Recommendations: Present findings, trends, and recommendations to senior leadership, influencing key business decisions.
• Adoption of Technology: Stay abreast of industry trends, tools, and technologies in Business Intelligence, recommending and implementing innovations to enhance analytical capabilities.

Your skills and experience

Who You Are

• Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in Business Intelligence, analytics, or related fields, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., SQL, BigData, DataBricks, Power BI, Python/R).
• Leadership Abilities: Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strategic Thinker: Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights, driving strategic business decisions.
• Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business operations and processes, with the ability to align BI initiatives with organizational goals.
