Sr. Backend Engineer (Golang, English)

Job description

The Role As a Senior Backend Golang Developer, you'll be a key player in designing, developing, and maintaining our core backend services. You'll work on a scalable, secure, and robust platform that handles critical healthcare data. This is a hands-on role where you'll contribute to all stages of the product lifecycle, from concept to deployment. 

What You'll Do:

• Architect and build high-performance, scalable, and resilient backend services using Golang. 
• Design and implement APIs and microservices. 
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code and champion best practices. 
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and other stakeholders to define and deliver new features. 
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. 
• Ensure the security and integrity of sensitive healthcare data, adhering to strict compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA). 
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Your skills and experience

• 5+ years of experience in backend development, with significant experience in Golang. 
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems. 
• Strong knowledge of databases, both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB). 
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure). 
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. 
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines. 
• A solid grasp of data security principles and compliance requirements, especially within the healthcare domain (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR). 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, can-do attitude. 
• Language: Working Professional in English
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 

Nice to Have 

• Prior experience in the healthcare or health tech industry. 
• Experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies. 
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture.
