Job description
We're looking for a Tester to join our QA team and support Teencare's growing product roadmap. In this role, you will execute manual testing across web and mobile applications, help catch issues before they reach users, and work closely with Product, Business Analysts, and Developers to ensure every release meets a high quality bar.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute manual testing for web, mobile, and API applications based on business requirements and functional specifications.
- Design, review, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test checklists.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using the company's bug tracking system.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing before product releases.
- Verify bug fixes and conduct re-testing to ensure issues are resolved.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and improve product quality.
- Prepare and maintain test data, testing documentation, and test execution reports.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production verification when required.
- Utilize AI tools to improve testing efficiency while validating the accuracy of AI-generated outputs.
- Continuously learn new testing techniques, tools, and best practices to enhance QA capabilities.
Your skills and experience
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in software testing in Product Company
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Software Testing and SDLC/STLC.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and willing to learn.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Jira, Postman, and SQL is a plus.
- Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to improve productivity is an advantage.
