About the job:

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer (Data Focused) to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Regional Head of Data & BI, this role requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to independent learning, contributing to exciting projects that drive our business forward.

Job Responsibilities:​

• Full Stack Development (50%): Contribute to both front-end and back-end development tasks.
• Data Pipeline Development (40%): Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Data Management (10%): Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous validation, cleansing, and error handling processes.

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a software engineering or data engineering role.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python programming skills is a must.
• Proven experience in frontend technologies (HTML, CSS and JS/TS) as well as major JavaScript framework (ReactJS, AngularJS, VueJS) is a must.
• Experience in backend with REST APIs or any other backend frameworks
• Experience with the cloud (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Understanding of DevOps, Git and CI/CD would be an advantage
• Curious mindset, effective communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English communication skills.
