Job description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a strategic, visionary Senior UX Designer to lead the design direction for the Motorist ecosystem. In this role, you will own the end-to-end user experience of complex, high-impact projects, driving the UX strategy across our Super App and web platforms. You will act as a design champion, aligning user needs with our business goals, scaling our design system for regional expansion, and mentoring other designers on the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Strategy & Leadership: Guide the design vision for core Motorist products on iOS, Android, and Web platforms. Translate complex business requirements into elegant, user-centric design strategies that drive conversion and user retention.
• Advanced Research & Insights: Spearhead comprehensive user research initiatives. Synthesize deep behavioral insights to identify new opportunities within the automotive, auto-finance space and more.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Partner closely with business leaders, engineering leads, and external partners to define product roadmaps and deliver cross-platform solutions.
• Mentorship & Growth: Mentor mid-level designers, fostering a culture of design excellence, continuous learning, and collaborative growth.
• Scale the Design System: Oversee and scale the global Motorist design system to accommodate multi-language and multi-region adaptations as we expand across APAC.

Your skills and experience

• 4+ years of extensive UX/UI design experience, with a proven track record of shipping successful, high-traffic consumer-facing mobile apps (experience in Super Apps, automotive, or e-commerce is a major plus).
• A stellar portfolio demonstrating complex problem-solving, strategic design thinking, and measurable business impact.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, FigJam).
• Deep expertise in UX research methodologies, interaction design, and information architecture.
• Proven experience leading projects from concept to launch, with strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
• Experience mentoring designers and leading the development of robust design systems.
• Proficiency in English is required to communicate with our headquarters in Singapore.
