Job description
As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using Java and Spring technologies
- Participate in the development of new features and enhancements to existing software applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, DevOps, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of software applications
- Debug and troubleshoot issues with software applications using various tools and techniques
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Java development and Spring Framework
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that the code meets company standards and best practices
Your skills and experience
- Proficient communication skills in English are essential, as you will be collaborating daily with cross-country teams and managers in meetings (mandatory)
- Prefer experience in Banking/Insurance/Finance domains
- 5 - 10 years of experience in Java Development and Spring
- Experience with Microservices
- Extensive experience with Spring frameworks: Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security, Spring Batch, Spring Cloud
- Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB (Prefer)
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline.
- Deep appreciation of latest and emerging technologies and practice, such as AKS/EKS, DevOps, Microservice and Mobile development
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
