Job description

• Strong engineering expertise in Frontend technologies: React Native and React JS​
• Solid understanding of API integration, BFF patterns, and microservices architecture​
• Experience in SDLC for Digital channels, experience in Mobile App release is highly regarded​
• Experience delivering BAU enhancements, defect fixes, and technical uplifts in digital platforms​
• Working knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and release automation​
• Familiarity with observability tools (e.g. Splunk, AppDynamics, OpenSearch) for informed decision-making​
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with focus on sustainable solutions​
• Ability to leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g. code assistants, automation tools)​​
• Ability to contribute effectively within cross-functional squads (Product, Design, Engineering)​
• Focus on engineering quality, reuse, and “configuration over customisation” principles​
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with business and technical stakeholders​

Skills​

• Expert JavaScript/Typescript​
• Highly experienced React Native​
• Knowledge of Web Hosting, preferably NodeJs, Express, Akamai and containerization.​
• Good understanding of Cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP)​
• Good understanding CI/CD, Pipeline Automation

Your skills and experience

• Proven experience in web and mobile engineering roles delivering enhancements at scale​
• Experience contributing to BAU delivery models, including backlog-driven change and platform uplift​
• Hands-on experience with: ​

- 5+ years experience in React Native and React JS​

- 5+ BFF / microservices (Node.js desirable)​

- 3+ Cloud platforms (AWS preferred)​

- 3+ CI/CD tooling (e.g. Jenkins, Harness CI/CD or equivalent)

• Exposure to data-driven decision making, including use of logs/metrics to guide improvements​
• Experience working in Agile, squad-based delivery environments​
• Experience balancing BAU run and continuous change delivery
• Fluent in English
