About Huenx AS 

Huenx AS is an AI-first consultancy and product company based in Norway. We deliver software and AI consulting services to clients across Norway and Europe, and we build our own AI-driven products. Our model brings together Norwegian business insight and senior Vietnamese engineering talent — small, highly skilled teams that work effectively with AI to deliver faster than larger organizations. 

As we expand in Vietnam, we are building a senior engineering team to work on both our internal products and international client projects. We are hiring several positions, on both full-time and hourly engagements. 

About the Role 

This is an end-to-end ownership role, not a UI-execution role. You will independently take features from an ambiguous business problem through UX, polished UI, and developer-ready frontend — with minimal hand-holding. You are not a pixel executor; you are a product thinker who also ships high-craft UI, and who uses AI across almost every step of your work to move faster and raise quality. 

What You'll Own 

• Take features from problem framing → research → UX flows → high-fidelity UI → developer handoff, independently. 
• Use AI tools across the full design process — research synthesis, ideation, UI generation, copy, and turning designs into frontend code. 
• Build and govern a token-based design system and reusable component library so UI work scales without manual rework. 
• Map and visualize customer journeys and apply design thinking to frame the right problems before solving them. 
• Identify and improve weak product and workflow processes — not just the screens, but how the workflows. 

Your skills and experience

Requirements — Must Have (in priority order) 

• 7+ years in UX / Product Design with demonstrated end-to-end ownership — show features you took from ambiguous problem to shipped UI on your own. 
• AI-augmented designer — you use AI across almost every step of your role (research, ideation, UI, copy, prototyping) and can show how it changed your output and speed. 
• Both UX and high-craft UI — you do the thinking and the pixels. This role does not assume a separate UI resource. 
• Generate frontend code from a UI design — you can turn a design into clean, usable frontend code (HTML/CSS, React/Tailwind, or via AI codegen). 
• Design systems & component libraries — you have built or governed a token-based system and know how to design with and extend component libraries. 
• Experienced with Claude / AI design tooling — hands-on with Claude-based design and generation workflows (or equivalent), not just casual use. 
• Design thinking & customer journey visualization — you frame problems before solving them and can map journeys that align teams. 
• Strong communication & professional written English — you write UX copy and align clients, engineers, and leadership. 

Requirements — Nice to Have 

• Process-improvement experience — spotting and fixing inefficient product or operational workflows. 
• Enterprise / B2B SaaS experience — complex, data-dense, role-based software (dashboards, admin tooling, multi-step workflows). 
• Data visualization — dashboards, charts, and matrices that stay legible under heavy information density. 
• Startup / small-team experience — high ownership, broad range, ship-it mindset.
