Job description
We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Intelligence Analyst and Data Manager to join our team in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The ideal candidate should possess strong data literacy, project management, and communication skills. This exciting role will be a key member of a motivated and high-profile team working on cutting-edge solutions.
You will be involved not only in managing client data intelligence and dashboarding solutions end-to-end, but also in contributing to product development, including our successful adoption of AI technologies into internal processes. The candidate should possess strong data processing skills and technical capabilities.
Additionally, this role will eventually involve directly managing projects for major multinational clients worldwide, so knowledge of the digital media industry is an advantage. The candidate should also be comfortable working with both internal and external stakeholders, including the ability to liaise with and present to non-technical audiences.
Key Accountabilities
Data Literacy & Expertise
- Build and manage data reporting solutions using BI platforms such as Looker Studio, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Analyse complex distributed production deployments in Google Cloud Platform and provide recommendations to optimize performance.
- Interpret and analyse large datasets using SQL and Python.
- Provide analytical support in designing, testing, evaluating, implementing, measuring, and monitoring projects.
- Ensure compliance with data management and data governance regulations and policies.
Project Management
- Actively participate in competitive intelligence roadmap discussions and prioritize analysis requests.
- Create and deliver data outputs, customized reports, ad hoc analyses, and data visualizations to support new business pitches across the region.
- Assist in managing and prioritizing multiple projects while maintaining process documentation and procedures to ensure data accuracy.
- Maintain an organized, detail-oriented, and QA-focused approach to work.
Networking & Stakeholder Management
- Build strong working relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders across the region.
- Actively participate in managing client requirements, maintaining SLA and SOW documentation, and ensuring team deliverables are met.
- Demonstrate self-motivation in identifying new business opportunities and improving existing client relationships.
Your skills and experience
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data processing, data engineering, ETL using SQL, and automation using programming languages such as Python for Senior Role
Minimum 7 years of experience to be qualified for Manager Role - Knowledge of scripting and programming in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is an added advantage.
- Intermediate-level experience with BI technologies such as Google Looker Studio, Tableau, and Power BI is required.
- Hands-on experience in data integration and manipulation using SQL, BigQuery, and Python. Familiarity with GCP is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with media research platforms such as NetBase, Brandwatch, Similarweb, and Semrush is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including pivot tables, charts, VLOOKUPs, and dashboard creation.
- Basic understanding of statistical analysis and research methodologies.
- Familiarity with media performance analytics and reporting is an added advantage.
- Self-starter with a high level of motivation and proactiveness.
- Highly organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
