Job description
The Senior Fullstack Developer will be responsible for the following:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using ReactJS, NextJS, and Headless WordPress.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in PHP for backend and WordPress customizations.
- Architect and deploy solutions on AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
- Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Ensure performance optimization, security, and best practices across applications.
- Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and propose effective solutions.
Your skills and experience
The Senior Full-stack Developer will report directly to the Line Manager and will possess the following attributes:
- 5+ years of professional development experience in modern web technologies.
- Strong proficiency in ReactJS and NextJS (App Router, Server Components, API routes).
- Experience with Headless WordPress development and integration.
- Solid knowledge of PHP and WordPress customization.
- Good experience with TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, etc.).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and guiding teams.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of projects.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerization.
- Knowledge of performance monitoring tools (Datadog, New Relic, etc.).
- Previous experience in a client-facing or consulting role.
