Job description

1LONG is seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Full Stack to lead our technology infrastructure and development efforts. As a Senior Full Stack, you will collaborate directly with our co-founders, and play a pivotal role in product development and the expansion of our engineering team.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Application Design and Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and build flexible, scalable, and adaptive applications that align with evolving business needs and support rapid growth.
  2. Team Collaboration and Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
  3. Code Quality and Best Practices: Champion engineering best practices, including unit testing, peer code reviews, pair programming, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
  4. Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and excellence within the engineering team.
  5. Technology Research and Implementation: Stay updated on emerging technologies and ecosystems, assess their fit for the company, and drive their adoption to strengthen technical capabilities.
  6. Technical Communication: Act as a technical voice in discussions with stakeholders, clearly articulating development strategies, challenges, and progress.
  7. Performance Optimization: Ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of both frontend and backend systems, identifying and addressing bottlenecks proactively.

Your skills and experience

  1. Experience and Leadership:
    • Minimum of 5 years in software development with demonstrated expertise in delivering scalable and efficient systems.
    • At least 1 year of team management experience, showcasing the ability to lead, guide, and inspire engineering teams.
  2. Technical Expertise:
    • Frontend Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Flutter to design, build, and deploy robust cross-platform mobile applications.
    • Backend Proficiency: Advanced skills in Golang to create scalable, efficient, and secure backend services.
    • Cloud Infrastructure: Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including serverless architecture, deployment pipelines, cloud storage solutions, and monitoring tools.
    • Software Architecture: Strong knowledge of software architecture principles, including microservices, modularity, and maintainability.
  3. Engineering Practices: Expertise in refactoring, and implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines.
  4. Communication Skills:
    • Fluent in written and verbal communication in English and Vietnamese, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
  5. Location: Fully remote and willing to work in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
  6. Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges and rapidly adapt to changing project requirements.
