Job description

• Act as the primary business analyst and representative in our Vietnam office reporting to the product ownership team.

• Manage and optimize communication between US-based teams and Vietnam-based development and QA teams

• Lead sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives

• Track and report on project status, ensuring timely and accurate updates to US-based teams

• Proactively identify and resolve issues, escalating when necessary

• Coordinate with US-based services team for follow-ups and issue resolution

• Provide clear, concise daily status updates to US teams, accounting for time zone differences

• Push back on unrealistic demands or timelines when necessary, advocating for the product and team

• Answer specific technical and product-related questions from the development and QA teams

• Organize and streamline workflows to improve efficiency and communication

Your skills and experience

Essential:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred

5+ years of experience in product management or similar roles in software development

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and sprint management

• Excellent communication skills in both English and Vietnamese

• Proven ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment

• Experience working with distributed teams across different time zones

• Strong technical background with the ability to understand and discuss complex software concepts

• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to influence without direct authority

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana)

Desired Qualities

• Experience in the healthcare or clinical research industry

• Familiarity with SAS programming and statistical analysis in a clinical/medical context

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in clinical research (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, GDPR)

• Certifications in product management or Agile methodologies (e.g., CSPO, PMP)

• Experience with AI and machine learning applications

• Proactive problem-solver with a can-do attitude

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams

• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results

• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

• Cultural sensitivity and experience working in multicultural environments
